This year June marks an astrological transition point. The first half of the month will be a continuation of May, whereas the middle to end of the month will bring about a tangible shift. Venus, Mars, and Jupiter will all move from elementally cold to hot signs. Jupiter and Venus move from Cancer to Leo and Mars goes from a steady paced Taurus to the juggling while jogging sign of Gemini. Watch closely as the speed adjusts and how you adapt to it. This is a deeply important piece of medical astrology not often discussed. How to exist with the shifts that often create imbalance through the “winds” of the change.

For those in the northern hemisphere, be mindful if you have a history of heat imbalances. Due to planetary shifts, taking place at the same time of summer, heat will be prevalent in the earthly and celestial atmosphere.

Heat imbalances include the following experiences:

Itching, irritability, and agitation

Impatience

Restlessness

Need for extra electrolytes

Inflammation

Perfectionism & being critical

Tendency to overwork & burnout

Headaches

Heart palpitations

Redness

Dry skin

Blood pressure issues

June 1 | Mercury enters Cancer

When Mercury moves into Cancer the nerves within the stomach and digestive system tend to dance to the tune of emotionality. Mercury will be in Cancer all month because it is going retrograde near the month’s end. A heightened emphasis on bringing the body into the parasympathetic state when eating meals is advised during this time.

June 3 | Moon in benefic embrace (Note times in different locations)

June 3 | Mercury in Cancer square Neptune in Aries

We have a lovely moment where the Moon is in a trine between Venus and Jupiter on the 3rd. This brings a graciousness to the day although the Mercury square to Neptune can bring a haze to the mind as well. Meditation can be enhanced on this day and also could bring the feeling of being on a cloud that can easily lead to a forgetfulness to the everyday essentials of daily living. Be sure to breathe, drink enough water, and eat food. Sexual encounters and erotic practices to elevate the spirit can feel more easily accessible on this day.

June 5| Moon briefly besieged

Whenever the Moon is besieged it is wise to be watchful of your intake. The Moon is the planet of nourishment and absorption. Check in with the amount and quality of food, media, water, and conversation you are letting in.

June 9 | Venus conjuncts Jupiter in Cancer

Cancer is the sign of the stomach, the breasts, and the womb. It is the sign of nourishment, of the mother, and of what we hold most tenderly within us. When Venus and Jupiter meet here, they are two benefics embracing in the most maternal of signs — and the body feels it. There is an expansiveness to the heart, a softening in the belly, and an invitation to receive.

This is one of the more genuinely beautiful transits of the month. Allow yourself to be fed — by food, by beauty, by love, by rest. The body’s capacity to absorb nourishment is heightened under this sky, which makes it an ideal day for a deeply nourishing meal, for gathering with people who fill rather than drain you, and for any practice that opens the chest and heart center.

Be mindful, however, of Jupiter’s tendency toward excess. In Cancer, overindulgence often lands in the stomach first — bloating, heaviness, or that particular kind of emotional eating that isn’t really about hunger at all. Let Venus guide the quality of what you take in, and let Jupiter expand your capacity to truly receive it rather than simply consume it.

June 9 | Mercury in Cancer square Saturn in Aries

Mercury, the ruler of the nervous system and Saturn, the planet of coldness, restriction, and limitation come into a square with one another. This is an ideal day for a massage, sauna, and lots of therapeutic movement. This aspect can also manifest in a very precise manner. Because Mercury is in Cancer, if the stomach and ability to absorb nourishment is hindered, it can create what the old physicians called “ill vapors” that can ascend and cause Saturn in Aries to enact the headaches it already has a tendency to increase in natives with the placement and during its transit. On this day Venus and Jupiter are conjunct in Cancer so this can easily take place through indulgence. Although Jupiter and Venus are benefic, we still have to be mindful of the constellation of forces taking place simultaneously.

The second half of June is where the celestial weather truly shifts — subscribe to read the full forecast, including the Chiron ingress into Taurus, the Summer Solstice medicine, and what the Full Moon in Capricorn is asking of your body.

Subscribe now

This is tropical astrology, and for me, it rules the body-mind. It rules matter. The incarnate self in time.

The Institute of Esoteric Medicine is a reader-supported publication. It traces how the incarnate self holds form, where it tightens, where it leaks, where it asks to be tended. It is the chart of flesh, fluid, breath, and the seasonal weather of being alive in a body.

The other tracks the actual stars — the fixed stellar geometry your soul oriented to before it ever entered a body. This is sidereal astrology. Astral means of the stars. It is the soul’s chart. The path beneath the path.

Lately I have been laying both charts side by side. Reading them in juxtaposition. Watching where they agree, and more interestingly — watching where they don’t.

A Sun in tropical Leo might sit in sidereal Cancer. Suddenly the body-mind is fire-coded, but the soul current runs through water. The performer and the priestess. The flame and the womb. Both true. Both you.

For example, in tropical astrology, I am natally a Scorpio sun — in Sidereal astrology, natally I am a Libra Sun. I relate to both — my personality is definitely more watery, more intense, more shamanic. My soul self loves balance, beauty, mending relational conflict and peace. I am often having a dialogue and stretching between these two seemingly polar aspects of self.

This is not a contradiction to be resolved. It is a contrast to be inhabited.

The Vedic traditions have always held the sidereal chart as the soul’s map. The Western traditions, post-Ptolemy, formalized the tropical frame around incarnation and material life. To read both is to re-member a distinction the lineages themselves carry — and to meet yourself across two registers at once.

The body has its sky. The soul has its own.

When you lay them down together, you stop asking which one is correct — and start listening to the conversation between them.

Where do your body and soul disagree in your chart? And what might that disagreement be asking you to integrate?

<a class="image-link image2 is-viewable-img" target="_blank" They’re right about the astronomy. But they’re drawing the wrong conclusion.

Here’s why I use Tropical astrology in medical astrology (why all good medical astrologers use this system) and why I believe it is the most accurate system for this work.

The Tropical zodiac is not about stars. It’s about the Earth.

The Tropical zodiac is anchored to the Earth’s relationship with the Sun — specifically, to the four cardinal points of the solar year: the spring equinox, summer solstice, autumn equinox, and winter solstice. Aries begins at the spring equinox. Cancer begins at the summer solstice. Libra at the autumn equinox. Capricorn at the winter solstice.

This is a terrestrial calendar. It maps the cycles of light, darkness, growth, and death as experienced here, on this planet, in this body.

And the body is matter. The body is Earth.

This is the essential philosophical key that most people miss. Medical astrology is not astrotheology or cosmological myth-making (though it contains those dimensions). It is a system for understanding how cosmic cycles express themselves through embodied life. The body is seasonal. The body is terrestrial. The body breathes, bleeds, grows, and dies in rhythm with the Earth.

When we speak of Aries ruling the head and Mars ruling inflammation, we are not simply describing a fixed symbolic correspondence. We are tracking how the energetics of new fire, of cardinal force, of the thrust of spring — express themselves physiologically. When we speak of Virgo and the digestive system, we are speaking of the sign that governs the harvest, the refinement, the sorting of what nourishes from what doesn’t. This is seasonally coherent.

The Tropical zodiac gives us a map that is calibrated to lived biological reality on Earth. That is precisely why it works for medicine.

The Sidereal system is not wrong — it’s differently oriented.

I want to be clear: this is not a dismissal of Jyotish or Sidereal astrology. It is a profound and ancient system with its own internal logic, its own remarkable predictive accuracy, and its own body of medical knowledge (Ayurvedic astrology included). But the Sidereal system is oriented toward the fixed stars and the galactic backdrop. It tracks our relationship to the cosmos beyond the solar system.

For spiritual astrology, for karmic mapping, for understanding soul-level orientation — the Sidereal system carries its own wisdom.

But for the body? For the terrain of tissue, organ, fluid, and nerve? We use the system that mirrors the Earth’s own seasonal intelligence. Because the body doesn’t live in the galaxy — it lives in the soil, in the seasons, in the tidal rhythms of this particular spinning rock.

When sidereal astrologers say Tropical “isn’t real” — they are conflating two different questions.

“Real” relative to what? To the positions of constellations? That’s one frame. But the Tropical zodiac was never claiming to track constellations. It is tracking solar-terrestrial geometry. It was always about the relationship between Earth and Sun, not Earth and stars. Criticising Tropical astrology for not aligning with constellations is like criticising a tide chart for not tracking cloud formations. Different phenomena. Different tools.

Both systems have accuracy within their own domain. The question is simply: what are you measuring, and why?

For medical astrology, we measure the body. And the body is Earth.

The Institute of Esoteric Medicine is a reader-supported publication. years. This is not a slow evolutionary drift. It is a lightning strike to human consciousness.

In medical astrology, Uranus governs the higher central nervous system — the cortex, the electrical impulse, the sudden awakening that cannot be undone. Gemini, ruled by Mercury, governs its counterpart: the peripheral nervous system, the branching network of nerves that carry sensation, signal, and meaning between the world and the self. When these two meet, when Uranus moves through Gemini, what we are witnessing is nothing less than the electrification of the collective nervous system.

This is Shiva. This is Kundalini. This is the lightning that does not ask permission.

The Shiva Principle — Uranus as Kundalini Fire

In the tantric and Shaiva traditions, Shiva is not merely a deity — he is the principle of dissolution that precedes renewal. He does not destroy for destruction’s sake. He burns away what has calcified, what has mistaken its form for its essence. Kundalini — the coiled serpent energy that rests at the base of the spine — rises in exactly this way: suddenly, disruptively, reorganising the entire nervous system as it ascends the Sushumna nadi.

Uranus operates by identical law.

Where Saturn builds, Uranus shatters. Where the nervous system has been conditioned to contract, to protect, to brace — Uranus sends voltage through the system that the old patterning cannot contain. In Gemini, this force moves through the channels of thought, language, perception, and signal. The mind itself becomes the site of initiation.

Kundalini does not ask whether you are ready. Uranus does not ask whether it is convenient.

The question for the practitioner is not how to stop this awakening — it cannot be stopped — but how to resource the nervous system so it can receive, integrate, and transmit what is moving through it.

The full article explores how to work clinically and personally with this transit: the somatic practices that build tolerance for Uranian activation, and the herbal nervines, adaptogens, and Ayurvedic formulations that support the central and peripheral nervous system during periods of collective electrification. It will remain retrograde until it returns direct on October 15th. To find out how this will impact you, look to which house 3-5degrees Aquarius sits and if there are any aspects to these degrees. Pluto will move from 5 degrees aquarius and move through the arc of 3-5degrees before it stations direct. It is sitting in my 6th house of daily health, squaring my natal mars which is 3 degrees scorpio in the second house — and so I am really going to need to be conscious of any health issues that may arise in the organ systems ruled by Scorpio - my reproductive systems, eliminative systems. These are things that I have had issues with during this cycle – and retrogrades usually only ever intensify these tensions.

Track to see if you have any planets in the early degrees (1-7degrees) of fixed signs (Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio, Leo) – as these will all be getting impacted by this transit.

In the Evolutionary Astrology framework pioneered by Jeff Green, Pluto represents the soul’s unfinished business — the deepest karmic patterns carried across lifetimes, encoded in the natal Pluto placement by house and sign. It governs the evolutionary skipped steps: what the soul has been avoiding, and what life will continue to recreate in ever-intensifying forms until it is finally faced. At its most fundamental level, Pluto speaks to the desire nature itself — not surface wanting, but the soul’s core orientation toward either separation through ego consolidation, or return through merger with the whole.

When Pluto transits in hard aspect to natal planets — by conjunction, square, or opposition — it is therefore not simply a difficult period to endure. It is a soul-level appointment. The planets it touches are being asked to shed an outgrown identity structure and reorganise around a more evolved expression of themselves.

The Core Principle of Pluto Retrogrades

Pluto doesn’t respond to avoidance — it intensifies when resisted. The remedy is always conscious descent: choosing to go into the underworld rather than being dragged. The retrograde period (May–October) is actually ideal for this — the energy is internal rather than eruptive, making it more workable.

The shadow of unbalanced Pluto is the compulsion to control what cannot be controlled, or the terror of annihilation. The medicine is surrender into transformation — which, given your work, you know intimately.

Ways to balance Plutonian Energy with Energetic & Ritual Practises to work with Pluto Retrograde Periods

Shadow work journalling — ask: what am I controlling? what am I avoiding transforming?

Working with obsidian, black tourmaline, or smoky quartz — traditional Pluto/Scorpio stones for transmutation

Scorpionic herbs — wormwood, blackthorn, nettle, mugwort; any bitters that support elimination

Ancestral clearing work — Pluto governs lineage and inherited patterns; this retrograde is potent for it

Ritual release — burning, burying, or water ceremonies around what needs to die

The retrograde dimension

When Pluto stations retrograde over these degrees, the initiation turns inward. What may have been erupting externally from January–May now becomes an interior reckoning. This is the soul being asked to metabolise what was catalysed — to integrate rather than react.

In Evolutionary Astrology terms, this is the difference between unconscious evolution (things happening to you) and conscious evolution (choosing to do the inner work the transit is demanding). The retrograde window is a gift — it slows the pressure enough to work with it intentionally rather than simply surviving it.

🔒 Continue Reading — Moon Cycles, Remedies & Your Full May Forecast

What follows is available to paid subscribers.

Inside: the May moon cycle breakdown — New Moon in Taurus, Full Moon in Scorpio, their relationship to the Pluto retrograde, and the specific practices and remedies I recommend for working each lunation consciously this month.

[Unlock Full Access by becoming a Paid Subscriber →]

Mercury entered its retrograde in Pisces on February 26th, stationing direct on March 20th, but the integration shadow period extends all the way to April 9th. Until that point, the cosmic fog of Pisces lingers. Mercury was also sitting there with Venus and the North Node, making for a watery month, even though we were technically in Fire Horse territory.

That is why April is the true astrological new year. Only then do our thoughts, communications, and plans finally crystallise — the hesitation and murk of those retrograde weeks behind us, and the full forward momentum of Aries ahead.

The Institute of Esoteric Medicine is a reader-supported publication. These were the fixed stars: powerful, mythic presences woven into the fabric of fate itself.

While modern astrology tends to focus on the planets and their ever-shifting dance through the zodiac, fixed stars offer something far more potent and personal. When a fixed star falls conjunct a planet or angle in your birth chart, it is said to bestow its gifts, or its trials, upon that part of your life in a profound and lasting way.

“The planets may be the players, but the fixed stars are the stage upon which destiny unfolds.”

This guide will teach you what fixed stars are, why they matter, which ones are most significant, and — most importantly — how to find them in your own birth chart.

✦ ✦ ✦

What Are Fixed Stars?

Fixed stars are, simply put, the stars you see in the night sky — the ones that appear stationary relative to each other. Unlike the planets (which the ancients called ‘wandering stars’), fixed stars maintain their positions relative to each other over a human lifetime, though they do drift very slowly over thousands of years due to a phenomenon called precession of the equinoxes.

In astrology, fixed stars are assigned a degree of the zodiac based on where they appear projected against the ecliptic — the imaginary band through which the Sun travels. This allows us to locate them within a birth chart, just like we would a planet.

The stars closest to the ecliptic are considered most influential in a chart. Stars further from the ecliptic (measured in ‘celestial latitude’) are considered less impactful, though some distant stars are so luminous and mythically significant that astrologers still use them.

A Note on Precession

Because fixed stars drift slowly over time (about 1 degree every 72 years), the degrees given for fixed stars change across different eras. The positions listed in this guide are approximate for the current era (2020s). If you’re using old textbooks, be aware the degrees may be slightly different. Most modern astrology software automatically updates star positions for your birth year.

✦ ✦ ✦

Why Do Fixed Stars Matter in Your Chart?

Fixed stars operate differently from planets. Where a planet represents an ongoing psychological dynamic or theme in your life, a fixed star feels more like a destiny marker: a quality that is fixed (pun intended) into a specific area of your chart. Their influence is often described as:

More fated and less changeable than planetary energy

Activated when conjunct a natal planet, angle (Ascendant, Midheaven, Descendant, IC), or the lunar nodes

More noticeable during transits or progressions that activate the degree where they sit

Often expressed in an all-or-nothing, intense, or archetypal way

The ancient astrologers, particularly from the Hellenistic and Medieval traditions, took fixed stars extremely seriously. Figures like Ptolemy, Al-Biruni, and William Lilly all wrote extensively about their influence. Today there is a rich revival of interest in fixed stars — and for good reason.

The Institute of Esoteric Medicine is a reader-supported publication. Within the span of two weeks, the sky delivered a Solar Eclipse at 28°49’ Aquarius on February 17/18, followed by a Total Lunar Eclipse at 12°59’ Virgo/Pisces on March 3. Sandwiched between them: the exact Saturn-Neptune conjunction at 0° Aries on February 20 - an alignment that hasn’t occurred since 1989, and not at this degree of Aries since 1702.

These are not just isolated events happening independent of one another; they form a single coherent statement. And if you know how to read it, the next 18 months come into sharp focus.

First, the Framework: How Eclipse Forecasting Works

Eclipses have been used as predictive tools for thousands of years, across cultures that had no contact with one another. That kind of cross-cultural consensus is worth paying attention to.

The traditional view, and one that holds up under scrutiny, is that eclipses don’t deliver events on a single day. They open windows. They seed themes that germinate and unfold over the following six to eighteen months, often peaking around the next eclipse in the same sign or at a trigger point when a faster-moving planet crosses the eclipse degree.

Think of an eclipse as a timestamp on a chapter. The chapter begins at the eclipse. You read it over the following year and a half.

The degree matters. The sign matters. And what other major transits are simultaneously active matters enormously. In this case, both eclipses are firing directly into the Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Aries, which means they’re not just opening a chapter. They’re opening an entire new book.

Eclipse One: 28°49’ Aquarius: The Last Gasp Before the Threshold

The Solar Eclipse on February 17/18 fell at 28°49’ Aquarius. In traditional astrology, 29° of any sign is called the anaretic degree: a critical, urgent, point-of-no-return energy. At 28°49’, we’re standing right at the edge of that threshold.

Aquarius is the sign of collective systems, technology, ideological movements, and the idea of “the people” as a unified force. But at its final degree, Aquarius isn’t building something from the past, but rather, it’s completing something in its entirety. It’s the last transmission before the signal changes frequency.

This eclipse seeded questions the next 18 months will answer: What collective systems are finishing their cycle? What ideologies are being revealed as hollow? Where has the idea of freedom been weaponised rather than embodied?

Look at where Virgo is at in your natal chart and contemplate what has changed in that area of life for you as this is the last eclipse in Virgo that takes place during this Pisces-Virgo eclipse series. Following an event filled February that brought about a pivotal change in directionality. March is only different in that most planets in the sky will be in Pisces and Aries, calling forth the need to be in connection with what needs to be let go of to allow a new cycle to be brought forth in full. Keep your eyes and hearts fastened to the Neptune and Saturn conjunction that took place last month as often when relating to astrology we can run the risk of moving forward into what is next, not fully acknowledging the gravity of tectonic shifts that are longer term changes in the story in personal and collective ways.

Lets briefly discuss the significance of Pisces and Aries from a Medical astrology lens to understand where to place added attention throughout the month, including remediation that can aid in your process.

Pisces

Rules the feet as a location

Rules the lymphatic system which makes it a major component of the immune system

Gives higher likelihood of experiencing auto-immunity when emphasized within a natal chart

Can have issues with bodies that makes immune system more susceptible to emotional based illness

Aries

Rules the head as a location

Rules the adrenal glands & primal brain

Symptomologies include headaches, sinus issues/allergies,

Tendency towards burnout

It’s imperative to take into account nervous system depletion/ exhaustion when Aries is emphasized in the natal chart. Nervous system depletion can be an underlying cause to almost any other imbalance in the body.

NOTE:

It is wise to take heed to the celestial weather as well as the terrestrial weather. During March, a shift of season is in effect, bringing an increase in allergies. Although allergies correspond more to Aries (Inflammation in the head and sinus cavity) a key to its underlying pattern is accumulation and stagnation within the lymphatic system.

During this transit and shift in seasons more generally, lymphatic massage is invited.

The blurring of reality. The collective unmooring. The rise of anxiety, chronic fatigue, identity confusion, and a strange kind of grief that’s hard to name. Pisces is the sign of the formless, the boundless, the selfless. It rules the oceanic, the mystical, the place where all things merge and individual edges soften.

The Institute of Esoteric Medicine is a reader-supported publication. A growing sensitivity. A dismantling of rigid structures that needed to fall. A collective opening to something beyond the material.

But there has also been a cost. We lost ourselves a little. Many of us lost ourselves a lot.

Now, the tide is turning.

Saturn and Neptune are both moving into Aries — and this is not a subtle shift. This is one of the most significant astrological transitions of our lifetime.

Aries is the first sign of the zodiac. It is the moment of emergence — the spark before thought, the breath before words, the impulse that says I exist. It rules the physical body, raw vitality, and the primal sense of self. If Pisces is the ocean, Aries is the moment you break the surface and feel the air hit your face.

And here is what this means for us collectively: we are being called back into form. Back into the body. Back into the self.

This is where the nervous system becomes the conversation.

The sympathetic nervous system — our activation system, our aliveness system — is Aries in physiology. It is the branch that mobilises us, that says move, respond, act, exist. It is the biological seat of the self in action.

And it is dysregulated. Collectively, chronically, deeply dysregulated.

Years of formlessness, uncertainty, overstimulation, and disconnection from the body have left most people running on a nervous system that has forgotten what safety feels like. That has forgotten what it feels like to simply be someone — grounded, present, alive in a body, clear on where they begin and end.

This is the invitation that Aries is extending to humanity right now.

Not to push harder. Not to do more. But to come back online — in the truest sense. To reinhabit the body. To rebuild a relationship with the self from the inside out, starting with the most foundational layer: the physical vessel and its capacity to feel safe within itself.

Saturn in Aries will demand this with structure and discipline. It will not be soft about it. It will show us, clearly and sometimes harshly, where we have been living outside of ourselves — and it will ask us to build something real in our place. Identity that is earned through presence, not performed through persona.

Neptune in Aries will spiritualise the body itself. It will dissolve the old story that the physical self is separate from the soul, that tending to your nervous system is somehow less sacred than meditation or prayer. The body is the practice now. The body is the portal.

We are at the beginning of a new chapter — not just personally, but collectively.

The question this era is asking isn’t who are you in relation to everything else? That was Pisces. The question now is simpler, and in many ways harder:

Who are you?

Not your roles. Not your wounds. Not the person the last decade dissolved and reshaped. But you — in a body, with a heartbeat, with a nervous system that is learning, perhaps for the first time, what it means to feel at home inside itself.

That is the work. And it starts here.

The era of nervous system care isn’t a wellness trend. It’s a cosmic assignment.

The Institute of Esoteric Medicine is a reader-supported publication. It is more about listening.

Eclipses are not a time for manifesting. Not a time for ritual.

	1.	NO RITUAL

Your ritual happens in the days before: you clean the house, clear and prepare your space. The day of the eclipse is a day for sitting in deep listening and stillness.

Eclipses are a time to sit in the dark. To listen. To let secrets reveal themselves.

	2.	RESPECT THE PORTAL

In occult tradition, eclipses have always been treated with reverence - and caution. They were never seen as “supercharged new moons” to slap your vision board onto.

They are ruptures. Openings in the fabric of what you thought was fixed.

Ancient practitioners would stay indoors, cover mirrors, refrain from spellwork: not out of fear, but out of respect for the sheer power of what was moving through.

An eclipse doesn’t ask what you want. It shows you what’s true.

	3.	WORK THE WINDOW

The real invitation lives in the space between eclipses : this corridor between now and the Full Moon Lunar Eclipse on March 3. Think of this as a hallway between two doors. What falls away now is making room for what arrives then.

Between now and early-March:

→ Pay attention to what exits your life without you forcing it

→ Notice what keeps showing up — in conversation, in dreams, in the corners of your attention

→ Write it down. Not to “manifest.” To witness.

→ Let yourself be rearranged

	4.	LISTEN TO THE FIRE HORSE

We are entering the Year of the Fire Horse - a year of speed, intensity, independence, and rebellion. The Fire Horse does not wait for permission. Paired with this eclipse in Aquarius, the message is clear: the old structures cannot hold what is coming.

You don’t need to push. You need to get honest about what you’ve been gripping that was never yours to carry.

The eclipse will do the rest.

Sit down. Get quiet. Let it work.

The U.S. Pluto Return: Understanding America’s Transformational Crisis

The U.S.

Sigourney Belle

The U.S. Pluto Return: Understanding America’s Transformational Crisis

If you’ve been feeling like everything in America is shifting, breaking down, or being completely restructured... there’s actually an astrological explanation for that.

What is the U.S. Pluto Return?

Every 248 years, Pluto returns to the exact position it occupied in a nation’s birth ch…

The final chapter of rebirth that you have been awaiting, is this month.

Full Moon in 13degrees Leo

The month starts with a full moon in 13 degrees Leo on the 2nd of February and it sets a very particular tone for the month.

Theme: Heart-led visibility, creative sovereignty, embodied leadership

A Leo Full Moon always asks a version of the same question:
Where am I hiding my light — and what happens if I let myself be seen?

At 13°, this lunation carries a stabilising yet initiatory quality. DO NOT schedule anything in for this day - it is a time to be internal, to sit with yourself and be present with your inner realms.

The eclipse portal completes on March the 3rd with a Lunar eclipse in 12degrees Virgo.

Eclipse portals are times when we enter into liminal space- they are a time to pause, to witness what needs to fall away. They are not times when we should be making any major life decision. Please leave all big decisions and wait until AFTER March 3rd (plus a week of integration) to really ensure you are making the right decisions - ones you will not regret later.

Eclipse season is NOT a time for ritual. It is a time to just be, and to listen. It is like being in the void. Anything you try to “do” ritual wise will just fall through quicksand.

Eclipses bring plot twists.

ESPECIALLY when it is a month which is highly Uranian.

With February starting off with the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars all reside in the sign of Aquarius, which is ruled by the planet Uranus, which is the planet of unexpected and sudden change / insights and visionary guidance, expect that you may receive many visions / downloads and/or changes in direction this month.

From a medical astrology perspective, Uranus is the planet of electricity, disruption, awakening, and sudden change. In the body, Uranus governs anything that operates through speed, impulses, shocks, and non-linear signaling.
